ARBITRATION
Victor Leginsky is an Arbitrator with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, DIAC. If Victor is appointed to be your arbitrator by DIAC, or if you decide to choose Victor to be your Arbitrator, you will benefit from his lengthy experience. Victor has been a Chair or a member of two dozen arbitration panels, and has appeared as counsel in more than a dozen more.
Further, he was in-house counsel at one of Canada's most important decision-making tribunals, the Canada Labour Relations Board (now the Canada Industrial Relations Board). In that position, he assisted the Chair and Vice-Chairs make decisions that affected airlines, railways and major trucking companies, among others.
Victor served as Chair of the Manufactured Home Park Dispute Resolution Committee by appointment of the Attorney General of British Columbia between 1998 and 2002. This project was established to resolve disputes in manufactured home parks using mediation and arbitration skills.

How Does My Company Arbitrate at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre?
Please put a clause like this in the contracts and agreements that your company enters in to:
“Any dispute arising out of the formation, performance, interpretation, nullification, termination or invalidation of this contract or arising therefrom or related thereto in any manner whatsoever, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the provisions set forth under the Arbitration Rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (“the Rules”), by one or more arbitrators appointed in compliance with the Rules.”
Parties are also advised to include the following in their contractual and submission agreements:
1. The number of arbitrators (1 OR a panel of 3) OR an authorisation for the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) to determine the number of arbitrators and their identities;
2. Determine the place of arbitration (e.g. “Dubai”) and venue to hold arbitration proceedings (e.g. “premises of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre”);
3. Determine the language of arbitration (e.g. “English”)
