Victor is a commercial arbitrator with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, or DIAC. Victor served as Chair of the Manufactured Home Park Dispute Resolution Committee by appointment of the Attorney General of British Columbia between 1998 and 2002. This project was established to resolve disputes in manufactured home parks using mediation and arbitration skills.
Victor Leginsky also provides strategic counsel to companies to structure their business in the United
Arab Emirates. He also provides advice on intellectual proeprty matters in the UAE. His clients include transportation companies, high technology firms, goods distribution companies, consulting firms and information companies.
Victor has practiced law in four jurisdictions, and in both the public and private sector. He practiced with Miller Thomson LLP, one of Canada’s largest national law firms, with more than 500 professionals. He worked as CEO of QualitE-Learning Assurance Inc., a high technology company. Besides providing his clients with practical, day-to-day advice on many business-related issues, Victor has developed an expertise in performing due diligence during corporate purchase and sale, and advising businesses on corporate change in the Middle East environment.
Beyond the practice of law, Victor enjoys outdoor recreation in the Arabian Gulf region, camping in the desert and hiking in the hills. So much to do!
