Victor is a Middle East UAE arbitrator in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is listed with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, and is confirmed as an arbitrator by the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
Victor served as Chair of the Manufactured Home Park Dispute Resolution Committee by appointment of the Attorney General of British Columbia between 1998 and 2002. This project was established to resolve disputes in manufactured home parks using mediation and arbitration skills.
Victor has practiced law in four jurisdictions, and in both the public and private sector. He has provided strategic counsel to companies to structure their business in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. He practiced with Miller Thomson LLP in Canada, one of Canada’s largest national law firms, with more than 500 professionals. He worked as CEO of QualitE-Learning Assurance Inc., a high technology company. His clients included transportation companies, high technology firms, goods distribution companies, consulting firms and information companies.
Victor Leginsky currently acts as an arbitrator focusing on construction, real estate and energy disputes in the Middle East, and provides business consulting. Victor does not hold himself out to be providing legal services in the Emirate of Dubai, nor is he a legal consultant in the Emirate of Dubai. He is, however, a Barrister in the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Beyond the arbitration practice, Victor enjoys outdoor recreation in the Arabian Gulf region, motorcycling and hiking in the hills. So much to do!
